WHAT a festival weekend! We are still buzzing from the energy, music, and magic of the festival, and our hearts are absolutely full.
An event like this doesn’t just happen—it takes a community of passionate, dedicated people to bring it to life. We want to extend a massive, heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this weekend unforgettable:
To our incredible Volunteers: You are the absolute backbone of this festival. From issuing and checking wristbands and guiding crowds to keeping the venues and village centre clean and sorting out every little glitch with a smile, your tireless energy and kindness kept our spirits high and everything running like clockwork. We couldn’t do this without you. A massive thank you also to Chris and John and their amazing team of Village Hall volunteers! The food at the village hall was an absolute triumph. We know how many hours of prep went into everything before the doors even opened, and it really showed. The bar volunteers handled the busiest rushes with brilliant humour and the best of attitudes.
To the Bands and Artists: Thank you for sharing your incredible talent and pouring your hearts out on stage. You gave us soundtracks, sing-alongs, and core memories that will stay with us until next year. The energy you brought to the stage was unmatched.
To our spectacular Dance Groups: You brought the village centre to life with movement, colour, and storytelling. Thank you for mesmerising us, getting our feet moving, and adding a vibrant, beautiful rhythm to the entire weekend.
To the Spoken Word Performers: Thank you for your powerful words, your vulnerability, and your wit. You commanded our attention, made us laugh, made us think, and created spaces of deep, captivating connection amidst the festival buzz.
To our dedicated team of Workshop Facilitators and Walk Leaders: Youdelivered dynamic, engaging, and inclusive experiences. Through a diverse range of activities, you connect festival attendees and the wider local community with memorable learning opportunities.
To our Decorations Team: You transformed the our village hall venue into a stunning, otherworldly wonderland. Your creativity, late nights, and meticulous eye for detail turned the hall into a living piece of art and set the perfect mood the second people walked through the doors.
To our Sound and Lighting Engineers: You are the unsung heroes of the weekend. Working endlessly behind the scenes, you made sure every note hit perfectly and every stage looked spectacular. Thank you for your precision, technical brilliance, and for keeping the show going flawlessly through the days and nights.
To our Allendale Wolf Procession and Bonfire Team: Your boundless imagination and creativity gives our village a truly unique spectacular, drawing hundreds of visitors. We are so grateful for the hard work and passion you poured into making this event an unforgettable success!
And finally, to our magnificent Audience: Thank you for bringing the magic! A festival is just a collection of stages without the crowd, and you brought the best vibes imaginable. Thank you for dancing on Saturday night, singing along, looking out for one another, and creating an inclusive, joyful community for the festival weekend.
